What is something most people don't know about you?
I'm an army veteran with 2 combat tours (I diffused bombs like the movie Hurt Locker). I've been to 42 countries. I have a wonderful wife and two amazing kids who definitely take after their mother!

Why do you think it's important for people to shop local?
Community is the backbone of the US economy. While we have many amazing, large companies in our area, the pulse of the PNW comes directly from our local business leaders.

Where are your favorite places to go in the neighborhood/Valley?
I love hiking Rattlesnake (on the week days to avoid the tourists!). I enjoy walking to North Bend Bakery to pick up my favorite pastries.

What are your favorite things to do in the neighborhood/Valley?
We have a fantastic neighborhood and I enjoy our community events that we host at our neighborhood parks. I absolutely love our festivals in the summer and the live music there. I also think the North Bend Theater does a fantastic job of getting comics in house.

What are your favorite restaurants in the Valley?
NBBG, Rio Bravo and Il Paesano are a few of my favorites. North Bend Bakery is a must!

What is something most people don't know about the business?
If you are a solopreneur, I can help. If you have 2+ employees, you can have really good health benefits... a lot of people don't know group health insurance can be procured at the small micro group sizes.
