Nine years

What is something most people don't know about you?

As a young adult I taught line dancing, was in Alpha Gamma Delta, and played D2 college tennis for Michigan Technological University. I'm currently a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoy Hip Hop cardio classes.

Why do you think it's important for people to shop local?

Shopping locally fuels our economy by creating local jobs and keeps our Valley moving forward with innovation and new products and businesses. In turn, their prosperity keeps local teams and non-profit organizations afloat. I believe by contributing to local causes, the community becomes a loving and caring place to call home.

Where are your favorite places to go in the neighborhood/Valley?

I love taking our new puppy to the dog park in Snoqualmie and listening to the elk. I also love watching the river flow and watching Mount Si turn pink at sunset.

What are your favorite things to do in the neighborhood/Valley?

Tubing in Fall City, blueberry picking and shopping in North. Bend, and playing hockey in Snoqualmie Ridge.

What are your favorite restaurants in the Valley?

Unphogettable, Trapper's Sushi, Caadxi Oaxaca, 12 Moons
