I was once an elementary school principal.

Why do you think it's important for people to shop local?

The more we shop locally, the more business we bring to the valley and that creates more opportunities for everyone who is lucky enough to live here.

Where are your favorite places to go in the neighborhood/Valley?

I love Birches Habitat, the Oxbow Loop trail, and Huxdotter.

What are your favorite things to do in the neighborhood/Valley?

I have young kids so I love a good park visit. I also love to take our kayak out on Rattlesnake Lake.

What are your favorite restaurants in the Valley?

The Attic, Caadxi Oaxaca, and the golf course is a hidden gem for a weekend breakfast.
